Successful application of DPM codes requires appropriate production equipment, a proper production process, and a reading device capable of adapting to the various appearances of the code. Our services include designing, installing, maintaining DPM reader systems, identifying and advising on identification issues, DPM code control (as per standard), as well as developing and installing DPM code generation systems (in cooperation with specialized companies)

DMP readers and application areas
Datamatrix and QR codes created as DPM codes belong to the family of 2D Matrix symbols, so these can only be read by two-dimensional or 2D CCD imager scanners.
There are no pre-boxed solutions for reading DPM codes, which were generated by different processes on different surfaces. In every case, a test period precedes the commissioning of each application, during which the ideal reader type, appropriate light source, angle, conveyor speed, etc. can be selected.
We get different solutions depending on the following:
- whether it is manual, fixed or mobile reading,
- whether the code has to be read in a stationary or moving manner,
- whether the code is dotpeen, inkjet or laser,
- whether the contrast of the code is low or ideal.
Application areas
Electronics industry – the technology extends the use of unique identifiers to parts that were previously unidentifiable.
- Operation frameworks
- Printed circuit boards
- Parts
- Marking packages
Automotive industry – it is typically used to identify individual parts of an engine or powertrain, but is also used to identify safety and other components. Thanks to precise unique part identification, the engines can also be tuned individually.
- Brake parts
- Airbag parts
- Car electronics
- Engine blocks
- Injectors
Pharmaceutical industry
The unique identification of medicines allows accurate traceability. The identification of the medicine can occur at every point in the distribution chain, thus providing a tool for safety and product tracking.
The code can carry data which confirm the authenticity of the medicine.
Healthcare
- Identification of implanted medical devices
- Identification of artificial limbs and parts thereof
- Unique identification of surgical instruments
Aviation
Since 2005, aircraft manufacturers Boeing and Airbus have required their suppliers to directly label their parts with identifiers. The unique identifiers of the parts allow to reduce the expensive and dangerous errors of previously manual entries. Unique markings make it easier and more accurate to track the history of parts. Some replacement parts or falsely issued identifiers may be found quicker.
